Implementing Ethical AI: A Salesforce Practitioner's Guide
Best Practices for Transparency, Bias Mitigation, and Data Security in AI-Driven Salesforce Solutions.
As we continue to push the boundaries of AI-powered Salesforce solutions, it is critical that we uphold the highest standards of ethical AI. With Agentic AI—AI systems that can take autonomous actions and make intelligent decisions—we must take responsibility for ensuring that our innovations enhance human decision-making, maintain trust, and align with ethical principles.
The Role of Ethical AI in Salesforce Solutions
Salesforce has embedded AI in its ecosystem through Einstein AI, AgentForce, and AI-powered automation, transforming how businesses engage with customers. At Infoglen, we leverage these technologies to create intelligent, automated, and data-driven solutions for our clients. However, AI is only as trustworthy and responsible as the people who develop it. To ensure ethical AI adoption, we must focus on:

1. Transparency & Explainability
-
AI models must be transparent and interpretable.
-
Customers and end-users should understand why and how AI-driven recommendations are made.
-
In AgentForce implementations, AI-generated insights should be auditable, traceable, and free from bias.
2. Bias & Fairness
-
AI must work equitably across industries, customers, and end-users.
-
In Salesforce solutions, AI-powered recommendations should avoid biases in sales, service, and hiring processes.
-
We must continuously test and refine our AI models to detect and eliminate unintended biases.
3. Privacy & Data Security
-
AI models should adhere to Salesforce security best practices.
-
No AI system should collect, process, or store sensitive customer data beyond what is necessary for its function.
-
We must comply with GDPR, CCPA, and other global privacy standards when implementing AI-driven workflows.
4. Human-Centric AI & Responsible Automation
-
AI should augment, not replace, human intelligence.
-
AgentForce’s intelligent decision-making should assist, not override, human judgment in sales and service operations.
-
AI-driven automation should empower teams to work smarter while maintaining human oversight where critical decisions are involved.
5. Accountability & Continuous Improvement
-
AI models should be designed for continuous learning, monitoring, and optimization.
-
Infoglen must take full accountability for the AI systems we deploy, ensuring that they meet both technical and ethical standards.
-
We must foster a culture where employees, partners, and customers can raise concerns and provide feedback on AI behaviour.
Our Commitment to Ethical AI at Infoglen
As we build AI-powered Salesforce solutions, including AgentForce, we must ensure that every AI-driven decision aligns with Infoglen’s core values—trust, innovation, and customer success. Ethical AI is not just a compliance requirement; it is a strategic imperative that will define our credibility and competitive edge.
Let’s continue innovating responsibly, ensuring that AI serves humanity with fairness, transparency, and integrity.

Infoglen SWEEP: 5 Kgs of Waste Removed

Aamena Ahmad
Senior Content Analyst
Our commitment to a sustainable future took center stage on March 20th as the CSR Club, under the Infoglen SWEEP project, organized a impactful plastic clean-up drive at Tau Devi Lal Park, Gurgaon.
For 2 hours, a dedicated team of volunteers transformed into environmental champions, armed with masks, gloves, and trash bags. We began by identifying key areas within the park needing attention, and then divided into groups to tackle the challenge head-on.
Our mission: to rid the park of dry waste, particularly plastic, paper, and metal. With focused effort, we meticulously collected discarded items.
The success of our clean-up was tangible. We collected a substantial 5 kilograms of waste, a testament to our collective dedication. But our efforts didn't stop there.
Following the park clean-up, we proceeded to the Samadhan Hub – a waste segregation facility, where we took the crucial next step. We sorted the collected waste into designated bins, ensuring proper disposal and recycling. This hands-on experience provided invaluable insights into the complexities of waste management and the importance of responsible disposal. We concluded the day with a reflective discussion, sharing our experiences.
The Infoglen SWEEP project is more than just a clean-up; it's a call to action. It's about empowering ourselves to make conscious choices and contribute to a cleaner, greener future. We are proud of the dedication shown by our volunteers and are inspired to continue our journey towards environmental stewardship.

A Bengali’s Perspective on the Infoglen Culture: Where Innovation Meets Ethics, and Work Feels Like Home

Tuhin Dey
Dear Infoglen Team,
At Infoglen, when I joined almost a year back, I understood that culture isn’t just a word—it’s the heartbeat of everything we do. Integrity, collaboration, and a passion for excellence define our journey, much like the deep-rooted traditions that shape Bengali culture.
Integrity at Infoglen: A Way of Life
Just as the Ganges flows unwaveringly, our commitment to honesty, transparency, and ethical work remains steadfast. Whether delivering innovative Salesforce solutions or fostering meaningful relationships, we uphold the values that define us. Like a well-woven taant saree, our client relationships are built on strong, transparent threads. Inspired by Satyajit Ray’s attention to detail, we aim for perfection in every project. Much like the warmth of adda over chai, we believe in open dialogue, mutual growth, and shared success.
Diversity of Infoglen: Culture Beyond Borders
From the energy of Durga Puja to the poetry of Tagore, Bengali culture taught me that creativity and integrity go hand in hand.
I saw the same passion in our workplace—where innovation is celebrated, and every challenge is met with determination.
The mention of Tagore prompts me to suggest a Fun Read! This month, I recommend "The Home and the World" by Rabindranath Tagore—a timeless tale of integrity, love, and duty.
Let’s continue building a workplace where ethics lead, innovation thrives, and culture connects us beyond boundaries.

Accelerating Action: Unlearning Gender Roles for Real Change in the Workplace
On the occasion of Women’s Day, Sanghamitra Shende shared her thoughts in a thought provoking writeup, in which she urges us to look beyond the celebration and ask if we there has been any real change. Here’s an excerpt from her article. You can read the full article on the Infoglen blog.
When I was writing this article, I found myself reflecting on what was it that had not been discussed before—what was yet to be highlighted in the pursuit of creating a more equal world ? I’m sure what I’m about to talk about today isn’t anything you haven’t heard before. But that’s exactly what makes this conversation so important.
We have been discussing this issue for years, raising awareness, and working tirelessly at multiple levels to address the systemic bias where one gender is consistently overlooked and denied opportunities. Despite all these efforts, little has changed. We're still having the same conversations, with no real progress. When I say there has been no real progress, I am referring to the way we perceive gender. In my view, this mindset is one of the biggest barriers hindering women’s progress at various levels. Let’s discuss!
How do you believe daughters and sons are typically raised in a traditional setup? Do we nurture daughters to be self-sufficient in all aspects—mentally, physically, financially, emotionally—and encourage them to develop their own identity based on their own thoughts and beliefs?
Do we raise our sons to treat women as equals in every aspect, whether it's in domestic roles or professional ones? Equality starts at home, so do we teach them that learning life skills like cleaning, cooking, and household chores are essential for everyone, and not just for women? Do we teach our daughters the financial aspects of life and the work done outside the home, like paperwork for school, colleges, filing for any id, etc.? Are we creating an environment where our sons and daughters don’t see any gender roles, where every task is something everyone should be capable of doing? Are we raising and training them to be well-rounded individuals, mastering all life skills both at home and outside?
The truth is, we're not doing this. We're not raising them equally. Instead, we're raising and training them based on traditional gender roles. Yet, we still claim that women aren't capable of working outside the home, and that men aren't capable of handling tasks at home. These roles are so deeply ingrained in our upbringing and society that we conveniently overlook the privileges that come with being a man, while women come to see these disparities as the norm.
Of course, men are also affected by the burden of financial responsibilities falling on one person. Even when both the husband and wife are working, the role of the primary breadwinner often falls to the man, which automatically shifts the mental and financial burden onto him. But while a man goes to work and comes home to relax, a woman, after a long day at work, is still expected to cook and take care of household duties…

Success Story
Transforming License Management for CPacket Networks

About The Client
CPacket Networks is a leader in network visibility and performance monitoring solutions. Their technology helps businesses monitor network performance, detect anomalies, and ensure seamless operations. To support their customers, CPacket provides software, device, and feature-based licenses, which grant access to their network monitoring tools and services.
Problem

Manual inefficiencies: License tracking and management were handled manually, making it difficult to provision, track, and renew licenses efficiently.
Lack of integration between Salesforce & LicenseSpring: Without a centralized system, sales and support teams had no real-time visibility into which customers had active, expired, or pending licenses.
Complexity of managing multiple license types: CPacket had to track:
-
Software licenses: Granting customers access to network monitoring software.
-
Device licenses: Activating monitoring devices for network visibility.
-
Feature-based licenses: Enabling specific software functionalities based on customer subscriptions.
Data inconsistencies & errors: Without automation, manual data entry mistakes often led to delays, misallocated licenses, and inaccurate customer records.
Limited scalability: As customer demand increased, the existing system couldn’t keep up, creating bottlenecks in license activation and renewals.
The Solution

Automated License Synchronization
-
When a customer purchases a software or device license, their details sync automatically between Salesforce and LicenseSpring.
-
LicenseSpring assigns a unique license key, which is recorded in Salesforce for tracking and renewal management.
Real-Time License & Device Management
-
Hourly batch jobs sync license activations, device allocations, and feature entitlements from LicenseSpring to Salesforce.
-
Licenses are automatically mapped to Accounts, Contacts, and Products, providing a single source of truth for internal teams.
On-Demand Sync for Sales & Customer Support Teams
-
A quick-sync button allows teams to update customer licenses in real time, ensuring seamless renewals, upgrades, and issue resolution.
Enhanced Error Handling & Data Accuracy
-
Automated error logging captures API failures, ensuring data integrity and immediate alerts to admins.
-
Real-time updates reduce human errors by eliminating manual license tracking.
Improved Customer Experience & Visibility
-
Custom Salesforce dashboards provide a centralized view of licenses, showing active, expired, or upcoming renewals for software, devices, and product features.
